-Being Selective-
If you plan to solo extensively then pick the slowest red mob you can find...some mobs will aggro...some mobs are protective of their own...be sure to figure out what kind it is beforehand...select areas that allow plenty of maneuverability...usually the safest places to grind higher lvled mobs at is near the Landing Pads
The Hunter Class: Stat Development
Hunters, being a very flexible class, has a wide array of skills that can suit virtually any play style...but as with many things...it starts from the ground up with a solid foundation...so here I will give a few stat development tips and what builds that they would be most suited for..
2:1 High Strength Stat Build-Putting 2 points on strength and 1 on dex every level will get you the most damage for your gold early on and so is very friendly when first starting as a hunter...long run you'll be skill heavy and lack the high crit rate of more dex heavy builds...but skills don't crit from what I've seen so you'll do fine...this is also good for determined lone wolves
1:2 Low strength Stat Build-Putting 1 point strength and 2 points dex every level isn't as cost effective early on as the High strength stat placement...but it still has a higher damage per arrow damage output then a full dex and you won't really miss out to much on the crit rate of late game...
Full Dex-Lower powered, more expensive to go with but people who place stat this way are looking for the long term pay off of a high crit rate which in the end makes it a relatively cheap build to maintain endgame and domo gold is fairly abundant then as well
Anything with Agility stat build-The only rational reason to increase evasion would be if you intend to make an AoE hunter, and this would only be worth while if you already have friends to team with...if you can kite respectably then evasion is relatively worthless and hunters don't really have many problems with skill cool down since you can kite while they are doing so...
The Hunter Class: Sub-Classes
I'm fairly purist when it comes to these types of things...but not everyone has that same mentality...and even I know when not to pass up a good thing...however...having not bothered spending time with all the classes I can only address a couple that I do feel are useful to a hunter...
